I used to come to the Mews all the time when I lived in Narragansett. I came for the first time in years recently with a very large group. Despite not taking reservations I called ahead and they were able to accommodate us quickly when we arrived. We were sat at a very large table in the tree room, and service was good given our party size. We were all super happy with our apps and entrees. I ordered nachos, Buffalo chicken dip, and Brussel sprouts for the table, and the peanut noodles for myself. Great list of beers and cocktails. I'm so glad my fond memories of this place held up!

Years ago, this is one of the must-visit places that one of my co-workers told me that I had to check out. This is an interesting place. The first thing that will probably catch your eye are the plethora of dollar bills wallpapered throughout the establishment. As far as I know, there's no real backstory to it besides some people thought it'd be fun to do, and the idea stuck throughout the years. The second thing you'll notice is 50,000 beers on tap. They have such an amazingly large selection, I was going cross-eyed reading the menu. So, of course, I asked for a recommendation in the form of a coffee stout. Our server, without hesitation, immediately told me that they only have one. It's a porter. And then told me the name of it, and let me know that customers seem to like it. It instills confidence when your server can rattle off an answer without hesitation or looking at the vast menu. I was impressed. For food, I guess they're know for their nachos, so I ordered the Mews Nachos. The nachos came out with the sour cream, guac, and salsa on the side. I love that, because all of those things can turn a nice plate of nachos into a soggy mess if you don't eat them quickly enough. Toppings included cheese (cheddar and jack, I think?), black beans, onions, and jalapenos. The tortilla chips are delicious by themselves. They taste fresh fried in-house. The toppings only make them better. Overall, I had a great time here.

Excellent service from Nicholas and fantastic food. Great size portions for a fair price.

The food here is top rate. We tried the Brisket Tacos and the Bahn Mi. They were both the bomb. Fresh menu, great service and a warm feeling when you walk in. You know immediately that up will have a great meal.

Always a favorite- URI Daughter first introduced us to this wonderful place and we come here every time we're are in the area / never a disappointment! Great food, atmosphere and URI spirit! RHODY-RHODY-RHODY!!

Mews Tavern is one of my favorite restaurants in RI. I love their expansive menu, draft beer, and the expansive set up of the restaurant. Mews is divided into three parts all with their own feel. Downstairs is the dollar bar which is 21+. The dollar bar is covered in dollar bills and has more of a pub feel to it than the other parts. There isn't a wait list for this part of the restaurant so I always try to come here first! The main tavern is also great, but they can get quite busy on weekends so try and join the Yelp waitlist ahead of time if you can! The food is also very good. They have something for everyone on their expansive menu. From burgers, to pizzas, to rice based bowls your party is sure to find something that everyone will enjoy!

My home away from home! This place hasn't changed a bit and the food still slaps. I remember many nights here as a URI student and glad I was able return for some nostalgia and good eats. We ordered the nachos and their summer salad. It came out quick and the service was stellar. We enjoyed the food a lot and hit the lunch time cravings just right. Happy to always return and thank you always for a good time!

What a great place. We have been coming here since I was a kid. Many fond memories of college times here too ! A while back parking was an issue but there was lots of it this time so that seems to have been resolved. A beautiful outdoor area was constructed recently and it looks amazing. It's always nice to be able to sit outside when the weather permits. As always the staff is stellar. On top of drinks and foods. Many many many beers on tap. Local and some hard to find. I recommend a flight. The menu is also huge. If you don't find something you like then you are too picky to eat out. I had a blue cheese burger. It was huge and cooked perfectly. A side of tots completed the meal. It's always a great stop For dinner , just bear in mind on weekends when college is in full swing there may be a wait.

We were went here for lunch and were seated near the pizza oven where it smelled delicious our entire stay, and not too hot. All booths are wooden with no cushions on them, this gives the restaurant a cozy atmosphere. The restaurant was busy but not overwhelming, we waited about 10 mins for our table before seated. Our sever was excellent, friendly and quick to notice our empty glasses. We got right to our entrées and was I glad we did, our order was correct and so delicious!! Definitely give this place a try for drinks or food.
